Welcome to The Colour Studio AU ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern the booking and provision of all services offered by The Colour Studio AU, including Online Colour Analysis, In-Person Colour Analysis, Group Colour Analysis Events, Corporate Colour Analysis Services, and any related products or digital resources.

By making a booking, purchasing a service, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Our Services

The Colour Studio AU provides professional colour analysis services designed to help clients understand the colours that best complement their natural features.

Our services include, but are not limited to:

Online Colour Analysis
In-Person Colour Analysis
Group Colour Analysis Sessions
Corporate Colour Analysis Workshops
Personal colour palette recommendations
Digital colour reports
Educational resources and styling guidance

Service inclusions may vary depending on the package selected and are described on our website at the time of booking.

2. Bookings

Bookings may be made through our website or by another approved booking method.

A booking is only confirmed once:

payment has been received (unless otherwise agreed in writing); and
you have received confirmation from The Colour Studio AU.

We reserve the right to refuse or decline any booking at our discretion.

3. Payment

All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

Payment must be made using one of the approved payment methods available on our website.

Prices may change at any time without notice; however, confirmed bookings will not be affected.

4. In-Person Colour Analysis

4.1 Service

In-person consultations are conducted at an agreed location, which may include:

our studio
your home
your workplace
another mutually agreed venue

Consultations include professional colour draping, seasonal colour assessment, education and personalised recommendations relevant to the package purchased.

4.2 Client Requirements

Clients are responsible for ensuring:

a suitable consultation space is available
adequate natural lighting is available where possible
they arrive on time
they follow any preparation instructions supplied before their appointment

Late arrivals may reduce consultation time.

4.3 Travel

Where travel is required outside our standard service area, travel fees may apply.

Any additional travel costs will be communicated before booking confirmation.

5. Online Colour Analysis

5.1 Digital Service

Online Colour Analysis is a personalised digital service completed using photographs and information supplied by the client.

No live consultation is included unless specifically stated in the purchased package.

5.2 Client Responsibilities

To achieve the most accurate analysis, clients agree to provide:

clear, recent photographs
accurate personal information
images taken according to our photography guidelines

The Colour Studio AU is not responsible for reduced accuracy where photographs do not meet these requirements.

5.3 Delivery

Estimated turnaround times will be communicated on completion of your online analysis.

Delivery time will vary as multiple communications may be required throughout the assessment.

Incomplete submissions may delay delivery.

For arranged purchases delivery timelines of products and swatches vary depending on Australian postal services.

5.4 International Clients

Our online services are available worldwide.

Delivery timeframes are based on Australian business days and Australian Eastern Time.

6. Group Colour Analysis Sessions

Group bookings may include private events, celebrations, bridal parties or social gatherings.

The booking organiser is responsible for:

providing accurate attendee numbers
ensuring a suitable venue
communicating any special requirements before the event

Changes to attendee numbers after confirmation may result in additional fees or adjusted consultation times.

Unless otherwise agreed, all participants are included within the allocated booking time.

7. Corporate Colour Analysis Services

Corporate bookings may include:

employee wellbeing programs
client engagement events
conferences
networking events
team-building activities
professional image workshops

A customised proposal may be provided outlining:

services included
duration
venue requirements
travel expenses
payment terms

Corporate bookings may require a deposit before work commences.

8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where reasonable notice is provided, we will make every effort to accommodate an alternative appointment.

Late cancellations, missed appointments or failure to attend may result in cancellation fees or forfeiture of some or all of the booking fee.

The Colour Studio AU reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to illness, emergencies, unsafe conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.

9. Refund Policy

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.

In-Person Services

Refunds or credits for cancelled appointments are considered in accordance with our cancellation policy. Notice must be provided before 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. If cancellations are within 48 hours of an appointment we will make best efforts to arrange a new time. If this time is not able to be agreed on the deposit paid will become forfeit.

Online Services

Because Online Colour Analysis is a personalised digital service created specifically for each client, refunds are generally unavailable once work has commenced.

Where Australian Consumer Law provides a remedy, those rights remain unaffected.

10. Force Majeure

The Colour Studio AU is not liable for delays or failure to perform services where caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

severe illness
accident
severe weather
natural disasters
power outages
government restrictions
industrial action
public emergencies
venue closures

Where practical, affected appointments will be rescheduled.

11. Client Conduct

We are committed to providing a welcoming, respectful and inclusive environment.

Clients agree to:

behave respectfully
treat staff and other attendees courteously
provide truthful information
follow reasonable directions during consultations

We reserve the right to terminate or refuse services where behaviour is abusive, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate.

12. Colour Analysis Disclaimer

Colour analysis combines professional training, experience and visual assessment.

While every effort is made to provide accurate recommendations, results may be influenced by factors including:

lighting
photography quality
skin changes
hair colour changes
cosmetic products
personal preferences
monitor and device display differences

Recommendations are intended as professional guidance and do not guarantee any particular fashion, styling or purchasing outcome.

13. Intellectual Property

All content produced by The Colour Studio AU remains our intellectual property.

This includes:

reports
colour palettes
digital resources
guides
photographs
graphics
educational material
website content
branding

These materials may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, sold or shared without prior written permission.

Purchased reports are licensed for the personal use of the client only.

14. Photography and Marketing

From time to time we may request permission to photograph or film consultations or use client testimonials for marketing purposes.

No identifiable photographs or testimonials will be published without your prior consent.

You may withdraw consent at any time before publication.

15. Privacy

We respect your privacy.

Personal information collected during the booking process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.

Information is collected solely for the purpose of providing our services, communicating with clients and meeting legal obligations.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Colour Studio AU excludes liability for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from the use of our services.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service or another remedy available under Australian Consumer Law.

17. Website Use

All content on this website is provided for general information purposes.

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure information is accurate, we do not guarantee that website content is complete, current or error-free.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service without prior notice.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version published on our website at the time of booking will apply to your purchase.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

International clients agree that Australian law applies to all bookings and services provided by The Colour Studio AU.

20. Photography, Video Recording & Promotional Content

The Colour Studio AU may occasionally request permission to take photographs or record video during colour analysis sessions for marketing, educational, promotional or social media purposes.

Participation is entirely voluntary. Before any photographs or recordings are taken, we will ask for your consent. You are under no obligation to agree, and choosing not to be photographed or recorded will not affect the quality, scope or delivery of your service.

If you provide consent, you grant The Colour Studio AU a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use the approved photographs or video recordings for promotional purposes, including but not limited to:

Our website
Social media platforms
Digital advertising
Printed marketing materials
Educational or informational content

We will always endeavour to represent you respectfully and professionally.

You may withdraw your consent for future use at any time by contacting us in writing. Withdrawal of consent will apply to future publications and marketing materials where reasonably practicable. It may not be possible to remove content that has already been printed, distributed, published, or shared prior to receiving your request.

Where photographs or recordings include children or individuals under 18 years of age, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian before any images or recordings are captured or used.

The Colour Studio AU will not sell or license your photographs or recordings to third parties without your separate consent, except where required by law.
